Something to Think about?

This week has been pretty hectic. Lots of good things happened and lots of bad things happened.... one of the greatest and most overwhelmingly painful thing that happened was that our Pasotor "Uncle Subash" past away. He went to be with the lord.

This was the first time that someone has died.. who i knew.. or had some realation with.. Uncle Subash was a very good man, and he always had something encouraging to say. I didn't know how to react and it didnt even feel like he was gone.. ... at first.. it seemed like this was all just a bad dream... but soon after, reality kicked in... he was really gone.

This got me thinking. We don't know how long we're going to live.. Some of us might live till 80, or even 90, while others could just die tomorrow. Our science has become so advance that, we have some type of controll over pretty much anything,..... anything, except death. Here are a couple of question which I asked my self, thinking about death.

When will I die?
How will I die?
When I die, will I be satisfied with my life?
How will people remember me?
In a conversation, if my name ever came up, what would people say about me?
When I face God, what will he say about my life?
Will he be satisfied with me?
Can I leave something behind to be remembered by?
Can I impact lives before I go, so that I will be a part of someone, or some people even after Im gone?
Will the world benifit from my death, or will it go into a loss?
On my death bed, what would be my last wish?
What would be the last thing that i would want to do and say, before I leave?
Right now, am I living to die, or am I dieing to live?
What am I doing right now, to make this life, living worth it?
Am I making a difference, or am I just another person who is living and will die?

Theses are some of the many questions that went through my mind....I realized that there are so many things that I could be doing right now. We have one life to live.....We should live it to the fullest. There will never be a time when we would be able to say, that we have had enough of life, and lived it to the fullest.... because face it, or lives are like never ending tunnels.... there is no ending.. all we can do is walk through it and travel as far and for the longest time that we possibly can.. Good and Bad things will happen, but nothing will ever be enough.... How bad do we want to make this life worth it..? For how long can we keep walking through this tunnel?

We have the chance to live, many don't get that chance, but we have it. Lets live life to the fullest and enjoy each day, as if it were our last,,,,, because face it... anything can happen at anytime... .... ..... ....May God bless and take care of you... Have a great day!!

The Execution

On the night of the execution
a man at the door
mistook me for the coroner.
"Press," I said.

But he didn't understand. He led me
into the wrong room
where the sheriff greeted me:
"You're late, Padre."

"You're wrong." I told him. "I'm Press."
"Yes, of course, Reverend Press."
We went down a stairway.

"Ah, Mr. Ellis," said the Deputy.
"Press!" I shouted. But he shoved me
through a black curtain.
The lights were so bright
I couldn't see the faces
of the men sitting
opposite. But, thank God, I thought
they can see me!

"Look!" I cried. "Look at my face!
Doesn't anybody know me?"

Then a hood covered my head.
"Don't make it harder for us," the hangman whispered.

Wow.. like isnt that poem scary... it's soo sad at the same time.... this poem is soo.. deep and depressing.. man.... phew.............

The blind love...

There once was a girl who was born blind... .. She was very lonely... and was sad because she wasnt able to see.... No one payed any attention to her because she couldnt do things like everyone else... ofcourse this was because of her blindness... She continued her life lonely and depressed.....waiting for a day.. when someone would donate their eyes.....Her life was miserable.... until one day... a guy came into her life.... That guy accepted her even though she was blind... He made her feel important and happy... He showed her the world through his eyes.. they were falling in love and they were very happy... It was as if the young girls life had turned all around.... She kept saying to him... "I wish I could see you... I wish i could see the one that brought all this happiness into my life..." and all the guy did was incouraged her and told her that some day it will come true.... She even vowed that she was going to marry him....
A couple of months went by as this beautiful love story was taking place... when the doctor called and said "someone finally has donated their eyes and we have it ready for u... you'll be able to see again as soon as we are done with the opperation...!! Tears of joy filled the blind girls eyes and she was sooo happy, cause her dream was going to come true. She would be able to see that wonderful man... the love of her life...
Well the operation was successful.... but the first thing that she wanted to see in her life was the her love..so as she opened her eyes.... she slowely came to see her love... but when she saw him she was horrified.... she was horrified because... the love of her life was also blind..... all of a sudden she denied of ever loving him... of ever liking him.... she didnt want to be with him... all those vows..... gone.......... She was disgusted at the fact that he was blind....and she told him that right to his face.... Tears filled that guys blind eyes..... he started to turn around and leave.... as he left... he very kindly said to the girl..... "Take care of my eyes for me.....will u.."


that was deep eh??? hehe i loved it... pretty nice.... but at the end i hated the girl... and like the guy was pretty stupid too... why would he give up his eyes... like comon man... oh well....
pretty sad story but hope u guys like it....

Deeper Walk was awesome!!
Wow I learned so much and got so energized spiritually...
Some of the things that I learned at DW and that really touched me were:

Your're living for God today...don't count on tomorrow and don't dwell in the past cause u cant change the past and u dont know how the futur will turn out.. (Ashish)

Prayer is a very crutial part of ur life.. Even a small prayer makes a huge difference.. It is very powerful and it really helps all of us. (Prayer lady from Portland)

We shouldnt be scared go evengalize to others.. There is always some way to bring up Jesus in a conversation. We should just shoot for it and God will talk through us in that conversation.. Also we should use little words.. instead of trying to look smart and using gynormous words that no one would understand. (Guy from UBC)

We can make a huge difference in our schools, with our relatives, and with our friends.. We just need to have faith and dream big.. Take that stand because just one small action of ours can make a huge difference and if it saves one soul, than it was all worth it... Don't give up. You can cause a chain reaction . God can work through u to make a difference in many peoples lives.. He chose u for a reason. (Tracy)

The final thing that I learned was that worshiping is totally different than performing. Performing is when ur doing something for ur self and ur doing it by ur own strength to get all the glory later.. But worshiping is when ur offering ur self to God. You let him work through you. Its not u thats playing, singing, danceing, it's the holy spirit thats working through you.. All the honor and glory goes to our father in heaven.. we are just his humble servants.. He is the potter and he shapes us and molds us in the way he wants us to be.. (Holy spirit)

I hope DW made a difference in your lives and I incourage you all to stay energized for the lord.. It doesnt mean that just because DW is over that you go back to ur normal everyday lives.. Exalt his name.. Its all for him.. Also live each day like your last.. Have fun, share the word..and do as much for the lord as possible, because you dont know what might happen tomorrow.. You have a wonderful oppurtunity.. USE IT !!!

Kinds of People in this world!!.....

wow................ u wont believe what types of people there are in this world.......

Some incourage u all the time
while others are always about discouragement.

Some are there offering help when u don't even need it..
while others won't even lend a hand even if u are in the greatest trouble..

Some will make u smile when ur crying
while others will make sure to get every tear off of u when u are sad...

Some will think about everyone else..
while others will just be plain old selfish.......

There are the real friends who are with u in time of joy and sorrow..
while others who will only be there for the joy and than leave u when trouble strikes...

why are there these types of people... why cant everyone be helpful, caring, incouraging, kind towards others... ? why are there some that always want the worst for u?? What good does it do... or how does one benifit from watching someone fall??
